These are my precious tools: Apple MacBook Air, Wacom Intuos tablet, “Richard” (the wooden human mannequin), and a little mouse that my sister gave me 🙂
I get inspired by different aspects in things I see everywhere: bold colors, defined shapes, vintage objects and historic areas. What I usually do is the following: admire the drawing, object or area, take a picture, exam it, open illustrator and… create something new based on the inspiration I got.
Every time I get to admire things, my brain gets this energy, I get to examine every single detail of the object and makes me feel so complete, so amazed.
Stop for a moment, and admire your surroundings, you will find that in the simplest thing there is something that makes it unique. Nature is full of this uniqueness, the world, the universe, show the perfection and attention to detail that God shows when He creates things.
